Workdrobe

Privacy policy

Your closet is yours.

Last updated October 18, 2026

Workdrobe is built so that we never see your data. The app has no account and no server. Everything you put into it stays on your iPhone.

What the app stores, and where

Workdrobe keeps the following on your iPhone only:

None of this is sent to us or anyone else. We don't collect, sell, share or have access to it.

Photos and the camera

Workdrobe asks for the camera and your photo library only so you can add pictures of your clothes. You choose each photo; the app doesn't browse your library. Recognizing what's in a photo (a shirt, trousers, shoes and so on) and reading its color happen entirely on your phone. Photos are never uploaded.

Sharing a look

When you tap Share on a look or on your closet math, Workdrobe makes an image on your phone and opens the share sheet. The image goes only where you send it, and contains only what's shown on the card.

Weather

Workdrobe doesn't use your location or a weather service. It estimates the weather from the date and your phone's time zone, and you can change it on the Today screen.

Reminders

If you turn on reminders, they're scheduled on your phone as local notifications. There's no push server.

Backups

"Back up your closet" (in Settings) makes a single file on your phone and opens the share sheet. You decide where it goes, such as Files, iCloud Drive or AirDrop. We never receive it. Anyone you give the file to can read your closet, so keep it somewhere private.

App updates

Workdrobe downloads small updates through our update provider, Expo. To deliver an update, Expo's servers receive standard technical details such as the app version, the type of device and operating system, and your IP address. No closet data, photos or personal information are included.

Apple

Downloading Workdrobe from the App Store, and any purchases, are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. We don't receive your name, email or payment details.

Deleting your data

Go to Settings in Workdrobe and tap "Erase everything", or delete the app. Either removes everything Workdrobe stored, because it was only ever on your phone.

Children

Workdrobe isn't directed at children under 13, and it doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone.

This website

This site uses no cookies, analytics or trackers, and loads nothing from other websites. Our web host may keep standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and reliability.

Emails you send us

If you email us, for example to ask a question or to hear when Workdrobe launches, we use your address only to reply or to send that one launch email. We don't add you to anything else or share it, and we'll delete it whenever you ask.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top. If the app ever starts collecting data, we'll say so here before it does.
